Az Európai Gazdasági és Szociális Bizottságtól távozó vezető tisztviselő elvileg 12 hónapig nem folytathat lobbitevékenységet vagy tanácsadást korábbi kollégáival kapcsolatban. Az EGSZB nyomon követi a korábbi vezető tisztviselői által végzett külső tevékenységeket, és erről évente jelentést tesz közzé.
