Iš tarnybos Europos ekonomikos ir socialinių reikalų komitete išėjusiems vyresniesiems pareigūnams 12 mėnesių laikotarpiu paprastai draudžiama dalyvauti su savo buvusiais kolegomis susijusioje lobistinėje ar protegavimo veikloje. EESRK stebi savo buvusių vyresniųjų pareigūnų vykdomą išorės veiklą ir kasmet skelbia šios stebėsenos ataskaitą.
