Когато висши служители напускат Европейския икономически и социален комитет, те обикновено нямат право да се ангажират с лобиране или застъпничество пред бившите си колеги за период от 12 месеца. ЕИСК следи външните дейности, извършвани от бившите му висши служители, и публикува ежегодно доклад относно този мониторинг.
