European Economic and Social Committee’s contribution to the 2025 European Commission’s work programme

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on 4 December 2024 adopted a resolution to provide the European Commission with a contribution to its 2025 work programme. Organised under the seven headlines of the European Commission President Von der Leyen's Political Guidelines 2024-2029, the EESC gives recommendations on how to approach urgent priorities such as, inter alia, a civil society strategy and action plan, the new action plan for the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights, the Clean Industrial Deal, and the strengthening of the EU's sustainable competitiveness.
