Investments and reforms for competitiveness and a Capital Markets Union
Request for an exploratory opinion from the European Parliament on their own-initiative procedure "Facilitating the financing of investments and reforms to boost European competitiveness and creating a Capital Markets Union (Draghi Report)".
The European Parliament requests the EESC to focus on expectations, concerns, and needs of civil society, and to propose concrete measures in relation to the following chapters regarding macro-economic and capital markets policy mentioned in the September 2024 report on "The Future of European Competitiveness" ("Draghi report").
