Input of the European Economic and Social Committee to the ILO Global Coalition for Social Justice

The EESC was among the first partners to join the ILO Global Coalition for Social Justice, a decision that was officially presented at the World Day for Social Justice on 9 February 2024. The mission of the Global Coalition for Social Justice aligns with the core values of the EESC. This includes the EESC’s commitment to, and its work on, labour rights, decent work, fair wages, social inclusion and the promotion of social and civil dialogue. 

This document seeks to provide input to the Global Coalition for Social Justice. It highlights key messages from EESC opinions on the six priority areas identified by the International Labour Organization (ILO) for immediate action.
