Welcoming visitors groups at the European Economic and Social Committee
Introduction
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is happy to welcome visitors from all over the world and explain them its role and activities.
Many of our visitors are members of civil society organisations or students specialising in EU affairs. We are particularly pleased to meet visitors from the new EU Member States.
Every visitors group is welcomed by a member of our team and by a speaker, who explains the structure and activities of the EESC and its role in the decision-making process of the European Union. The presentation is interactive and followed by an exchange of views with the participants.
To organise a visit, please address your request by email to VisitesCESE or by fax to the number (0032) 2 546 97 64. Applications should be sent at least three weeks in advance. Please indicate the date requested, the number of participants and your preferred EU official language (Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish). Groups requiring a speaker specialised in a particular subject should inform us in advance. The visit lasts between one and two hours.
